One of the main contributing factors to expressive poverty rates of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) is the region’s particularly high vulnerability to shocks. This investment case assesses the potential future impacts of shock responsive social protection and shed light on the associated costs and ways to create the necessary fiscal space.
