The Impact of the Covid-19 Crisis on Households in the National Capital Region of the Philippines

The results of the joint UNICEF-UNDP assessment on over 3,600 households with children residing in the National Capital Region show early evidence of the impact of COVID-19 in the Philippines on a range of outcomes at the household level, including employment, income, food consumption, food security, social protection, mental health, and gender equality. The assessment was undertaken with support and guidance of the National Economic and Development Authority, the Department of Social Welfare and Development, and the Department of Education.
